Lexi's backyard, socially distanced, Long Island Bat Mitzvah!

Thank God for long lenses! This year challenged us in so many ways and while much of it was totally scary and anxiety inducing some of what happened as a result isn't so bad. I'm actually enjoying the smaller, more intimate celebrations that I've been lucky enough to be part of. There is less opportunity to make money with these but they are so much more rewarding to photograph and money isn't everything. Lexi's backyard, Bat Mitzvah was a small service and luncheon on a beautiful day. The number of people in attendance was low but the love level was very high. I hope, as things get back to normal, that people will continue to distill their parties and gatherings to the people who are most important to them and continue to focus more on what they're actually celebrating.
