kendra was raised and currently lives in new york city but clearly part of heart resides in the country. how else could you pull off such a magnificent country wedding? david & kendra got married at her parents weekend house in woodstock and had their reception at the bearsville theater
http://bearsvilletheater.com it was magical. it's hard to imagine what the day would have been like if it had been raining or cold or super hot...lucky for all of us it was perfect. dinner was served family style and was delicious!!!! i know because my assistant and i got to eat what the guests were served and we felt so lucky. usually venues serve "vendor meals" and while i'm gratefull for all of my food i'm especially so when it is as good as the food cooked up by the bear cafe
http://www.bearcafe.com they got all of the flowers from river garden which is a flower farm. they were beautiful arranged in canning jars on long tables with lots of diy details that made the setting uniquely theirs.
i want to write...for just a moment about the clothes. everyone in the wedding party was dressed impecibly. so a shout out to j crew bridal

this was a dream wedding for me. the setting, the weather, the food, the details made it a really fun/inspiring wedding to shoot. also, it doesn't hurt when the bride looks like a 40's movie star:)
