this is what i stumbled on when i dragged myself out of my apartment for a run the other day. i went to the park near my place and found 50 kids hip hop dancing to michael jackson songs. are you kidding me??? i was in heaven. turns out it was all part of the summer stage program which is responsible for free performances throughout the 5 boroughs. needless to say i ran my ass back home to get my camera. i love new york city so much, i am constantly surprised and inspired and in awe. i'm not usually a "dance" person but the performance was amazing and FREE!!! you should check out the summer stage calender
